I am a 10 year New Yorker, but a Floridian at heart. Originally from St. Petersburg, FL, I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!), where I first started saying, “Y’all.” I came to the city to intern at The Late Show with David Letterman and then went on to work in TV production at VH1. But the longer I lived in Manhattan, the more I realized where my heart really belonged: the fashion industry. I began designing jewelry and transitioned my career into PR for designer fashion, accessories and fine jewelry markets. I love to style my friends and find new ways to wear old clothes in my closet. You can usually find me in lipstick and heels. And unlike Emily Post, I think it’s better to be over-dressed than under-dressed. Oh, and I have two different colored eyes. I’m married to my best friend, Matthew Perkins (but everyone calls him Perk) - he's a true southern boy from Georgia and talented filmmaker. We are also new parents to our beautiful daughter, Emma "Emmy" Grace Perkins who was born on August 2nd, 2016.
